Ahernes is a family run guesthouse and seafood restaurant in the seaside town of Youghal, County Cork. With thirteen uniquely decorated spacious rooms at affordable prices and a well known seafood restaurant we feel we offer a great place to come and relax. We aim to be “the best place to stay and eat in Ireland”.
Aherne’s has world famous reputation for its warm welcome, unique accomodation and outstanding food. Privately owned and run by the Fitzgibbon family for three generations. We are on the beautiful south coast of Ireland within easy reach of the major cities of Cork and Waterford, airports, ferries and roads.
Aherne’s is the the perfect base for leisure and business.
Relaxing and Inviting with award winning food, we can cater for intimate weddings, birthday parties or simply a special gathering with family or colleagues.
We have 3-course dinner menu option, as well as boards with specials changing daily with the freshest local produce. If you or your guests have any dietary requirements please just let us know and we'll accommodate you as much as possible. We also have 12 spacious bedrooms if some of you or your guests would like somewhere to stay on the night.
If a full sit-down meal isn't what you're after we also take group bookings for bar food or can provide a selection of finger food on request.
