At the Alcock and Brown Hotel in Clifden, owners Declan, Sharon, their family and staff are here to offer you a friendly and warm welcome to Clifden. Our warm and pristine bedrooms are nicely decorated in a traditional style and are distributed over the 1st and 2nd floor of our hotel. We have a choice of Standard, Superior and Family rooms available for your stay in Clifden. All bedrooms are non-smoking in the Hotel.
Breakfast is cooked to order and we offer delicious locally sourced food throughout the day from our two restaurants. The hotel is located right in the heart of Clifden with easy access to beautiful scenic drives and walks and is central for enjoying the traditional Irish nightlife that Clifden has to offer to give you a perfect break away.
Our complimentary WI-FI is available in all Bedrooms, The Gallery Restaurant, Coffee House at the Alcock and Brown, Vickers Function room and the Cosy Bar.

Arrive on a Friday night to a lovely fire in our lobby and a glass of prosecco. After refreshing in your lovely bedroom, then join us in our famous Gallery Restaurant where our renowned French Chef Fabrice Galand will have created a menu especially for you for the evening. After dinner you can party the night away in our Cosy bar.
The following morning, you and your guests can come down to breakfast in your pyjamas for our special ‘cure all’ cooked to order breakfast that will set you up for the day!
For your wedding day our lovely Vickers Function Room will be beautifully decorated for your special day. Surrounded by stunning views you will have your pick of places nearby from which to take amazing photographs to capture the fun and excitement of your wedding day.
Our hotel is right in the centre of Clifden so there are no need for taxis should you wish to explore the shops, bars and restaurants that are a stone’s throw from our door.
