Brookhall Farm Estate is a popular choice for couples wishing to get married in an idyllic, rural and intimate setting where you and your guests can relax and celebrate exclusively in the grounds of our 30 acre holding. Everyone is guaranteed the warmest of welcomes here at Brookhall. We have three different wedding packages for you to choose from;.
‘Happy Ever After’ package:
This is the most popular package for couples who want to celebrate their special day exclusively in the one location. Couples can have their religious or civil ceremony in our 13th century church setting or you can choose to have your ceremony on the lawn. This package includes making the most of this picturesque setting for your wedding photography, the hire of Brookhall Banquet Room for your wedding meal and the use of Brookhall Barn which can be designed to your style for your reception. This package also includes our four self-catering cottages so you can make yourself and your guests at home for the night before you venture off on your happy ever after journey together.
‘Brookhall Banquet Room’ package:
This all-year-round package is a popular choice for couples getting married during the autumn and winter months but it is also available in spring and summer. You and your guests can come to Brookhall Farm, get married in our utterly impressive pre-Christian church before making your way into the Brookhall Banquet Room. Brookhall Banquet Room seats 60 people, and, once you have enjoyed your wedding meal, you can return to the former church for your evening celebrations. This package also includes the use of our grounds for your wedding photography. It does not include accommodation.
‘Say I Do’ package:
The ‘Say I Do’ package is for couples who decide to hold only their wedding ceremony here at Brookhall Farm. Couples can have their religious or civil ceremony in our 13th century church setting or you can choose to have your ceremony on the lawn. This package includes making the most of this picturesque setting for your wedding photography before heading off to celebrate your wedding reception elsewhere.
No matter which package meets your requirements best, there is ample car parking facilities and we have also landing space for helicopters. We can also supply, at your request, a list of suppliers for catering, barn styling, local accommodation providers and pop up bars.
Church setting:
Our 13th century pre-Christian church is located on our grounds at Brookhall. The former church is steeped in history and since owner Pauline Johnston had the church building restored it has hosted hundreds of weddings. Not only that, this beautiful building has also been used as a special place for proposals. We are proud to say we can host weddings for couples of all denominations and beliefs. We cordially invite all couples to come and view Brookhall by appointment.
Brookhall Banquet Room:
Brookhall Banquet Room sits 60 people and it can be dressed to suit the style of your wedding. This space, which adjoins our pre-Christian former church, is perfect for those wishing to have an intimate banquet style meal. There is space outside the Banquet Room for outdoor tables and chairs so people can enjoy the whole surroundings – inside and out.
Brookhall Barn
Our barn is an agricultural style barn which provides outdoor indoor space for your celebrations. It is a vast space which gives our couples a fantastic opportunity to dress the barn to suit your style and theme of your wedding. There are some fantastic people who have styled our barn for several weddings over the years and we are happy to recommend those people to you as their precision and attention to detail has ensured happy couples celebrate with their guests in their own style.
Gardens:
Brookhall’s mature and beautifully landscaped gardens surround Brookhall House and our self-catering cottages. Our gardens are lovingly cared for so every year the bloom is just delightful. Our lawns and secret gardens ensure photographers have the perfect backdrop to capture your special moments with you and your guests in a beautiful romantic setting. When you book to view Brookhall you will get a full tour of the grounds and you’ll see our stunning Pear Tree which is over 100 years old. Viewings are booked by appointment only.
Accommodation
Brookhall’s self-catering cottages are perfect for couples who get married here. Brookhall Gate Lodge, Brookhall Lodge View, Pear Tree Cottage and Honeysuckle Cottage have all the amenities you require so your guests can make the most of this countryside retreat while they join in your celebrations. Brookhall’s cottages are pet friendly, smoke free, have parking facilities, free wi-fi, open fires and are very beautifully decorated which gives them great character. Guests describe our cottages as their ‘home away from home’. Each cottage sleeps at least four people.
