Castle Dargan Estate lies on 170 acres of rolling parkland in a stunning country setting. We are proud to say that we are the only 4-star Estate and Hotel surrounded by picturesque grounds, and a golf course designed by 2011 British Open winner Darren Clarke in Sligo. Along with these spectacular outdoor settings and facilities our award-winning Icon Spa makes Castle Dargan Estate the ideal venue for a relaxing break. Located just a short ten-minute drive from Sligo town, the Estate’s centrepiece is the opulent Castle Dargan House, built in the 18th century and lovingly restored to modern standards.
Castle Dargan Estate’s championship golf course, was personally designed by Pro golfer Darren Clarke in 2006, offering visitors 18 spectacular holes. In addition, the course offers a short game putting facility, practice green, driving range, golf shop and The Middleton Bar & Terrace which overlooks the spectacular course views. Not only the high-quality design but lakes, bridges and the historical castle ruins put this course on level of its own.
For off the course relaxation, our Icon Spa offers optimum and unique luxury with panoramic views over the scenic golf course from the spa’s relaxation suite. Icon Spa offers top class treatments such as balneotherapy baths, dry floatation, massages, facials, and treatments for all your beauty needs.
