The setting is magical. Just 2 hours from Dublin, nestled in the center of a 500 acre private estate of mature hardwoods, deer pastures and our own river, privacy at this country house is total. Inside, the warm welcome, open fires and incredible cooking are complemented by large, bright bedrooms and oh so comfy beds.
Built in 1774, Coopershill has been the family home to 8 generations of the O'Hara's and is in immaculate condition. This country house is the perfect base for exploring the stunning North West of Ireland. Links golf, walking, W.B. Yeats country, megalthic tombs and much more are a short drive away.
Coopershill Country House in Sligo, is a member of Ireland's Blue Book and is available all year for private rental and special events such as filming.
An 18th century Grand Irish Country Mansion in immaculate condition, set in a private 500 acre estate and exclusively for your use. A river runs through the property and the wildlife is prolific. Regular sightings include otters, red squirrels, pine martens, wild deer, woodpeckers, jays and cuckoos.
Super King size beds, open log fires, modern bathrooms. Snooker, tennis and croquet on the property. Hill walking, fishing, links golf, seaweed baths and miles of quiet beaches 20 minutes away.
Breakfast and dinner can be catered by us and menus take advantage of our own farm, fruit and vegetable gardens. The food is excellent.
We have 7 guest bedrooms and bathrooms. Rates are based on a maximum of 16 guests, with no minimum number of guests and include breakfast. All other meals, drinks, laundry etc. are extra.
