Dunmore house is located 10mins outside of the famous walled city of Derry. Overlooking the river Foyle with its beautiful landscapes the house boasts some exquisite gardens. With over 2.5 acres of private and immaculately kept award winning walled garden it’s an idyllic setting for many occasions.
The wonderfully traditional walled garden dates back to 1742, as does the Georgian Country house. Found along the Wild Atlantic Way, the tranquil garden is made up of a variety of rich collections of ericaceous plant, 20th century Rose Beds and elaborately intricate paths that radiate from the huge central Redwood in the middle of the garden. A beautiful location to compliment your beautiful celebration.
We are an exclusive wedding venue and we mean exclusive. Dunmore Gardens is completely yours for the day. With the family home and gardens as a background for you and your guests, your event will be surrounded by ancestral beauty and flowers.
On a beautiful summer’s day your wedding will commence amongst the flowers and woodlands of Dunmore Gardens. Firstly you can enjoy photos and canapes in the garden. Then you can have your wedding breakfast in the beautiful heritage barn and dance the night away. You will have a stunning backdrop throughout your special day no matter where you are at Dunmore Gardens.
