Historic Dunowen House provides you with a very unique and luxurious setting for your celebrations. Located in a stunning coastal setting, our 18th Century country house is perfect for hosting your intimate wedding, family reunion, milestone birthday or luxury hen party.
When you book Dunowen House for your celebration, it is yours exclusively. This provides you with the opportunity to create the type of event you want, something unique to you. Our priority is that you have the time and space to relax and enjoy your stay, to make the most special memories with the people you cherish.
From our experience, small can be the most perfectly formed.
Each year we host a select number of weddings, working with couples who want a more intimate, laid back and personal celebration.
Dunowen House is fully licensed to host weddings on site, with ceremonies being conducted inside, outside on the large terrace or under the old sycamore tree in the garden.
With smaller weddings, it’s sometimes hard not to feel overwhelmed in more traditional venues. At Dunowen we have capacity to cater for ceremonies of up to 30 guests and sleeping accommodation for up to 23 guests, making it a perfect private country house venue for a more intimate wedding.
All catering is provided on-site, with the flexibility to work with us to create your own unique menu. Vegan and vegetarian menus are a speciality, with most produce grown in our walled gardens or sourced locally in West Cork.
