Elm Tree, Glounthaune is a family business, run by proprietors Derek & Lorraine Walshe. With a desire to create the perfect location for any occasion, Derek & Lorraine love nothing more than seeing people come together and enjoy what the elm tree has to offer. Whether it's food that makes you smile, signature cocktails or freshly baked scones, guests are invited to wine, dine & unwind in some style and a little luxury. Redesigned in 2008 and revived again in 2018, elm tree has been awarded multiples national titles over the years.
Elm tree is for starting your week off with some coffee and the paper on a winter's morning, a swift lunch meeting with your work colleagues, treating your partner on a saturday to a chilled bottle of wine, enjoying a meal with your kids on a mild autumn evening outdoors, or a sizzling BBQ amongst friends on a warm summer's night.
Whether it's dinner for two, three or twenty, elm tree cater for tables of up to 20 in our restaurant & 20 plus in our private party room. Our menu choice is wide, our parking is extensive, our produce is fresh.

The elm tree specialises in tasteful intimate weddings together with pre and post wedding celebrations. couples can entertain their family and friends to pre dinner prosecco or cocktails in the wonderful outdoor courtyard followed by a choice menu in the private bank lounge with a round table set up, elegant finer touches and attention to detail.
