Hilton Park is an elegant country house surrounded by the privacy of four hundred acres of sweeping parkland. Still in the hands of its original family almost three hundred years after it was built. As its custodians we are proud to open the doors to this magical place. Offering whole house exclusive hire, retreats, fully catered accommodation as well as hosting a venue for intimate, micro weddings of 25, and larger when we are able, as well as inventive events.
This award winning ninth generation country house and estate offers a secluded and idyllic place, majestically set amidst hundreds of acres of natural lakes, heritage woodlands, meadows, thriving kitchen gardens and pleasure grounds. Offering endless opportunities to explore, experience and get lost in.
Open-air theatres, house and garden tours, workshops, forest yoga, bee-keeping, coarse fishing, rearing sheep and biodynamic horticulture in the walled kitchen garden are just some of the other activities taking place here – all with the ethos of living sustainably within a heritage environment.

We have recently renovated the courtyard to create an unusual and unique semi permanent space and as such have a few weekends still available for Spring/Summer 2021. The comfortable accommodation in the house, grand four poster beds and sweeping parkland views, a stylish and romantic bolthole for your celebration.
The breath-taking gardens, set on three levels, from the croquet lawn to parterre and the herbaceous boarder, herb garden and walled garden beyond.
The open-air parterre for your ceremony, with the impressive backdrop of Hilton Park house and the view on to the lake.
The terrace for your drinks reception with magnificent topiary surrounding the lawn, as well as views of the lake and a showband bus as your stylish drinks bar
The converted 18th century colonnaded pavilion for your meal and evening party, with its exposed beams, original cast iron colonnades and full height ceiling, it is said to be the only one of its kind in existence.
Hilton Park provides a magical setting for a wedding with a mile-long avenue only adding to the sense of “other worldliness” and privacy.
Weddings at Hilton Park are the total antidote to the hotel wedding, where you can celebrate your nuptials in a more house party style environment in the setting of one of Ireland’s last surviving great houses. Ceremonies or blessings can be performed on the grounds of Hilton. In the rose garden, down by the lake, or overlooking the house or in the stunning drawing rooms.
