Welcome to your wedding at Liss Ard Country House Estate. When you celebrate your special day at Liss Ard you’re not just booking an event and accommodation, you’re reserving the entire estate. We know your special day is yours, and nobody else’s, so we close the estate to the public, and make it exclusively available for the enjoyment of you and your guests.
There’s nobody else staying, nobody else dining, nobody else walking the grounds. Liss Ard is yours for the duration of your celebration. You don’t share the facilities with anybody else, and as our only guests you’re guaranteed our undivided attention throughout your stay.
There’s something magical about Liss Ard. The house is elegant, the grounds are stunning, the atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed… but it’s more than that. It’s something you can’t quite put your finger on… but you feel it as soon as the gates close behind you.

From the 19th century Georgian country house with its adjacent garden mews, to the Victorian lake lodge overlooking Lough Abisdealy, to the charming walled gardens, stunning woodland glades and the contemporary magic of the Irish Sky Garden: there’s something to suit every style and taste right here on the estate.
We know how important it is to get everything right on your wedding day. Our experienced wedding team will work with you every step of the way to ensure all the little details are covered, delivering a unique wedding tailored to you. We can cater for up to 150 guests in the country house and can accommodate a marquee in the grounds for larger wedding parties up to 300 guests. Our culinary team works with world class ingredients sourced from local artisan producers and from our own vegetable garden to craft an exciting, contemporary menu for you and your guests.
