The original Meadowlands Hotel, was purchased by the Ó Mathúna Family from Dingle, re-built and re-emerged in June 1998 as the charming, intimate hotel the town has come to love. The Ó Mathúna’s insisted on maintaining the traditional aspect of the hotel and whilst this is apparent in all quarters, nowhere more does traditional local life come alive than in the infamous Johnny Frank’s Bar, with its feature open fire, cascading staircase leading to the Library and the many traditional music sessions that ensure Caint, Ceol agus Craic! The family only use the best quality, locally produced ingredients and even source the fish from their own fish company in the village of Dingle on a daily basis, ensuring it’s at its freshest when delivered to your table.

Specializing in bespoke intimate wedding celebrations for up to 80 guests, the Meadowlands team will always take the time to listen and understand your dreams and wishes for the perfect day! Packages are tailored with special features such as planning the wedding ceremony, designing a signature drinks reception, preparing the couple’s favourite dishes for dinner and celebrating into the evening with choice of entertainment.
Meadowlands Hotel is licensed for civil, humanist and spiritual ceremonies so you have the choice of style of ceremony that is right for you. Ceremonies can be organised in the hotel’s private gardens (weather permitting) or one of the beautifully appointed rooms within the hotel which will tie in nicely with the decor chosen for wedding.
For larger weddings over 80 guests and up to 180 guests, you will have the option of the Meadowland’s Meitheal Ballroom with private fairy tale lit courtyard.
