Half a mile of avenue meandering through mature parkland brings you to Temple House, its lush green grass maintained in perfect order with the assistance of sheep and their lambs. Fine old trees provide the flock with a measure of shade on hot days and, in all directions, there is a screen formed by the natural woods that cover more than half the area of this impressive estate.
Temple House, a luxury Country House in county Sligo, is a beautiful Georgian manor set in a private estate of over 1,000 acres, overlooking a 13th century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. The Perceval family home since 1665, the present manor was redesigned in 1864 and enjoys the authentic and unpretentious luxury country house atmosphere.
More Country House than B&B or hotel, Temple House is a historic home offering luxury country house accommodation (up to 20), plus a self catering cottage that sleeps 8. It is a wonderful place to stay for bed and breakfast, a private event, a wedding party or get together – it is unusual, intimate and special.

Temple House boasts rooms of enormous proportions and grandeur and yet there is a real sense of intimacy here too. The terraced gardens are spectacular, the whole setting breathtaking. We can welcome small intimate gatherings or larger parties. Wedding Capacity: 12-120 seated, (160 seated in two rooms)
