The newly renovated interiors of The Abbey will retain all of the period charms with a modern contemporary twist. Our historical building has its own Chapel built in 1852 which showcases breathtaking, original stained glass windows, which is the perfect place to say I do.

The landscaped courtyard enclosing the rear of the property is ideal for outdoor drinks receptions and picture-perfect photos, and the beautifully appointed open plan banquet room is perfectly arranged to enjoy our lavish wedding menus.
The Abbey has 38 contemporary bedrooms, including two prestigious wedding suites. Our bespoke designed wedding suite boasts a dedicated getting ready area for the morning of the wedding and makes the ideal setting to start your wedding day. Our expert wedding team will work closely with you to create a bespoke package to make your wedding reception and breakfast delightful for all of your guests, and your first meal as a married couple, a memorable one.
From arrival drinks and canapes, to midnight food when the party is in full swing, we will work with you to create your perfect package. Our sample menus for your wedding breakfast include dishes such as Irish Beef Fillet, Bantry Bay Salmon, delicious vegetarian dishes, and mouthwatering desserts of Chocolate fondant, lemon tart, and more.

After the legal bits it’s time to toast the marriage in our courtyard, before moving on to enjoy a lavish menu and partying the night away in a beautifully appointed open plan ballroom.
