Set just outside the National Trust village of Cushendun, this beautifully simple red sandstone church is one of the landmark buildings in the area. It was built in 1842 for the new Church of Ireland parish of Cushendun but by the end of the last century the congregation had dwindled and in 2003 the church was reconsecrated.
The Old Church Centre offers organisations, groups and visitors a unique venue to host meetings, activities, weddings and other celebratory events. Set in the National Trust owned seaside village of Cushendun, this 1840s listed hall-and-tower church has been sympathetically renovated to meet the varied needs of 21st century users while maintaining the integrity and ambiance of its 19th century origins.
